JUPITER reaches opposition on 4 July, but is very low down in Sagittarius. SATURN will bj reasonably well placed on the borders of Cetus and Pisces. The rings are now opening up after last year's edge-on presentation. THE MOON is new on 15 July; First Quarter on 24 June and 23 July; Full on 1 and 30 July; Last Quarter on 7 July. Astonomjrs are watching a red dwarf star called Lalandj 21185. Slight wobbling suggests that it may have two planets around it.
