      R/UNION: KRONFELD BANNED 
               FROM PROTEST    
 
 All Black flanker Josh Kronfeld has    
 been banned from wearing a message of  
 protest against French nuclear tests in
 the South Pacific.                     
                                        
 Kronfeld appeared for the Otago        
 province on Saturday wearing protective
 headgear on which he had written "Stop 
 Testing" and drawn a peace symbol.     
                                        
 He indicated then he would carry the   
 mjssagj for the rest of the season and 
 when the All Blacks toured France later
 this year.                             
                                        
 But New Zealand Rugby Football Union   
 (NZRFU) chairman Richie Guy said: Wj   
 will tell him not to wear it."
