 MIDDLESBROUGH CHARGED BY FA            
 Middlesbrough have been formally       
 charged with a breach of Premier League
 rules for calling off last Saturday's  
 game at Blackburn.                     
                                        
 'Borg said they could not play the     
 fixture as they had 23 players eithjt  
 ill or injured, but did not have the   
 Ljaguj's permission to postpone it.    
                                        
 They now face an FA commission to      
 answer the charge on January 14 white  
 they will present medical evidence.    
                                        
 'Borg could bj fined or have points    
 deducted or escape punishment.
