 dry sunny but cold, with night frost   
 and patches of freezing fog. Scotland  
 and Northern Ireland will tend to bj   
 cloudy with patchy rain or sleet in the
 west but sleet or snow in the east.    
                                        
                                        
 Saturday                               
 After widespread ovjtnight frost       
 sjvjti in places and some patchy       
 freezing fog it will bj anothjt cold   
 day for much of the country. Rain      
 sleet or snow in the north will edge   
 south petering out on the way.
