I particularly enjoyed Pride and Prejudice, Moll Flanders and Emma. I hope we can have more of the same in the New Year.  Sam, Bournemouth  David Wicks leaving EastEndjrs was memorable TV. The acting from Michael French and the rest of the cast was simply superb.  D.A Pettie, Fife Backbjat 560 Biz 557 Cookbook 580 TV News 591 Front Page 100 Movies 541 TVChoice TV Quiz TV Charts Main Menu

I object to explicit sex scenes on TV as this, in effect, makes mj a female equivalent of a Peeping Tom. Less of it in '97 please.  Raquel Wheatley, Bath  The first major drama of 1996 was the best. Our Friends in the North featured unforgettable performances from all four central characters. It was an epic story which spanned 30 years and ended bang up to date with Oasis playing ovjt the final credits — brilliant!!  Judith Divine, Leeds Backbjat 560 Biz 557 Cookbook 580 TVChoice TV Quiz TV Charts Main Menu
