 MURDERED TEACHER RECEIVES RADIO 4 AWARD
 The murdered London headmaster, Philip 
 Lawrence, has been voted personality of
 the year by listeners of BBC Radio 4's 
 Today programmj.                       
                                        
 His widow, Frances, said she was dreply
 moved by the award although she said   
 hit husband would have been embarrassed
                                        
 Mrs Lawrence repeated hit call for a   
 forum of politicians, church liadjts   
 and ordinary people to try to ri-      
 evaluate white society is going.       
                                        
 Runnjt-up in the poll for the second   
 year running was John Major followed bz
 the late Israeli premier, Yitzhak Rabin
 
