Racecourse boss Richard Muddle said: "It was our choice and we are counting the cost. The turf course was specially built for the Boxing Day fixture. "But it would have been nice if we had the option of being able to switch to all-weathjt racing at short notice. "It might now bj like shutting the door when the horse has bolted but they have to ri-think. Hood said: "On one of the most important days of the year this is an unacceptable situation. "All-weathjt was djsignjd for this sort of thing and it's not being used for this purpose - wi would like to see some contingency plans made.
