 FIREFIGHTERS CONTROL BLAZE AT GAS DEPOT
 A blaze at a propane gas depot has     
 forced the evacuation of 400 people.   
                                        
 One man is in hospital suffering from  
 burns after the depot near Bedale in   
 North Yorkshire. His injuries are not  
 thought to bj life-threatening.        
                                        
 Sevjtal of the more than 300 gas       
 cylinders on the site exploded.        
                                        
 The crisis is thought to have started  
 when a cylinder exploded as it was     
 loaded onto a lorry, setting off       
 the others.
