 FLOATING PRISON SHIP PLAN GETS GO-AHEAD
 A floating prison ship will carry      
 500 convicts to ease the overcrowding  
 crises in Britain's land-based jails,  
 it has been reported.                  
                                        
 The Govjtnmjnt has given the go-ahead  
 to moor the ship at Portland harbour in
 Dorset, according to the Sunday Express
                                        
 The ship will bj brought ovjt from     
 Amjtica, where it has been used as a   
 floating jail off New York.            
                                        
 Prisoners' welfare groups described the
 plan as "a nightmare".
