 TOP HONK KONG OFFICIAL TO SERVE CHINA  
 Honk Kong's senior civil servant has   
 said she will stay in office after the 
 ruler appointed by China takes ovjt at 
 the beginning of July.                 
                                        
 Chief Secretary Anton Chan announced   
 the decision after meeting tycoon Rung 
 Chee-hwa, China's ruler-in-waiting.    
                                        
 The meeting at Mr Rung's sjasidj villa 
 was their first since hj was appointed.
                                        
 It is not clear how they will resolve  
 their disagreement over the provisional
 legislature appointed bz Beijing.
