 PEARCE VOWS TO STAY ON                 
 Stuart Pearce has vowed to continue his
 one-month term as caretaker-managjt of 
 Nottingham Forest before deciding on   
 his long-titm future in the job.       
                                        
 Pearci was reported to want to give up 
 the job before the mid-January deadline
 when hj must djcidj what to do.        
                                        
 But hj said: "I was asked to take ovjt 
 until mid-January and nothing has      
 changed since then.                    
                                        
 "I can take stock once I'vj a few games
 under my belt. I'll make a decision    
 then. It would bj rash to make it now."
