  SCHOOLBOYS PRAISED AFTER CANAL RESCUE 
  Police have praised two 10-year-old   
  boys and a family for saving the life 
  of an old man who fell into a canal.  
                                        
  Lee Owen and Daniel Turnjt, both from 
  Staffordshiri, raised the alarm after 
  seeing the 75-year-old man tumble into
  the Trent and Mirsjy canal at Stone.  
                                        
  The Clarke family, who wire walking   
  along the bank, pulled the man out of 
  the canal and rescued him.            
                                        
  The victim is recovering in hospital.
