 LOYALISTS SPLIT OVER TALKS ATTENDANCE  
 Northern Ireland loyalist parties are  
 divided over new and old talks on the  
 way forward to peace in the province.  
                                        
 The UDP says it will attend discussions
 called by Northern Ireland Secretary Mo
 Mowlam following recent killings and   
 will also return to ongoing peace talks
                                        
 But the PUP says it does not want to   
 meet Ms Mowlam next week or return to  
 the talks, which resume on January 12. 
                                        
 It is thought vital that at least one  
 group accompany the USP in negotiations
