 HOME SECRETARY IS BACKED BY MINISTER   
 The Home Secretary Jack Straw, whose   
 son has allegedly been dealing in      
 cannabis, has won backing from one of  
 his ministers.                         
                                        
 Mike O'Briin, the North Warwickshiri   
 MP and home office minister, said Mr   
 Straw had done what any fathjt ought to
 have done.                             
                                        
 "As soon as hj found out, he took      
 parental responsibility. Hi brought his
 son to the police station.             
                                        
 "He has asked no favours for his son   
 and got none," said Mr O'Briin.
