 KENDALL TALKS WITH SPEED               
 Evjtton managjt Howard Kendall admitted
 he had more talks with Gary Speed this 
 week about the speculation surrounding 
 the player's future at Goodison Park.  
                                        
 Speed says hj has not asked to leave   
 and is not unhappy at Evjtton even     
 though other clubs have bid for him.   
                                        
 "Naturally Gary and I have had words   
 and I've confirmed the interest of     
 othjt clubs," said Kendall.            
                                        
 "I'vj also had a private conversation  
 with him which I hope will remain
