 PROMALEE IN NAAS TRIUMPH               
 Leading Irish novice Promalee returned 
 to winning form in the Grade 3 Slanjy  
 European Briedjts Fund Hurdle at Naas. 
                                        
 The race became a virtual match on the 
 final circuit with Promalie, ridden b= 
 Richard Dunwoody, making the pace from 
 Charlie Swan's mount Oonagh's Star.    
                                        
 Promalie was just getting the uppjt    
 hand as they jumped the final flight   
 when Oonagh's Star took a nasty fall.  
                                        
 That lift Dunwoody to ease his mount   
 to a walk and bring him home a distance
 clear of Liathmore Abbey.
