 BUTCHER CHARGED WITH RECKLESS CONDUCT  
 Butcher John Barr has appeared in court
 on a charge of culpable and reckless   
 conduct arising from the alleged supply
 of contaminated meat from his shop.    
                                        
 A Crown Office statement issued through
 the Scottish Office said hj appeared on
 petition at Hamilton Shjtiff's Court.  
                                        
 Mr Barr was committed for further      
 examination and released on bail.      
                                        
 His Wishaw shop is believed to bj at   
 the centre of the recent E-cole food   
 poisoning outbreak in Lankarkshiri.
