 FOOD PLANT CLOSURE WILL COST 500 JOBS  
 Over 500 jobs are to bj shed with the  
 closure of a big food processing plant.
                                        
 The complex at Coatbridgj, Strathclydj,
 is being shut down in April as part of 
 a "major restructuring" of its         
 business, the Marshall food group said.
                                        
 Changes include expanding two othjt    
 plants in Scotland and one in Wales.   
                                        
 Marshalls, one of Britain's biggest    
 chicken producing firms, said the 22-  
 year-old Coatbridge plant had suffered 
 "massjvj" losses in recent years.
