 SAMPRAS GETS EASY AUSSIE START         
 World number one Pete Sampras and two  
 of his fiercest rivals were handed the 
 easiest possible start in the draw for 
 the Australian Open.                   
                                        
 Sampras will play a qualifier in the   
 first round in Melbourne, as will      
 Michael Chang and Thomas Muster.       
                                        
 The draw allows for possible finals    
 between Sampras and Boris Becker, and  
 between Martina Hinges and Steffi Graf.
                                        
 Tim Henman was pitted against Mark     
 Philippoussis of Australia, while Greg 
 Rusjdski meets 14th seed Felix Mantilla
