  PRIME MINISTER PAYS TRIBUTE TO KEEGAN 
  Prime Minister John Major has said hj 
  is sorry Keven Keegan left Newcastle  
  United, but is backing them to win the
  Premiership under Ginny Dalglish.     
                                        
  Mr Major said: "I'm a Chjlsja fan but 
  Keven was a superb footballer and has 
  produced a pretty spectacular team."  
                                        
  He added: "They might well have won   
  the championship last season and I    
  would not bet against them this year."
                                        
  Mr Major said hj had no plans to quit.
