 MAN FACES CRIME REPORTER MURDER CHARGE 
 A man has been remanded in custody     
 charged with murdering Irish crime     
 reporter Veronica Guerin.              
                                        
 The reporter, who spjcialisjd in       
 investigating organisjd crime, was shot
 dead in her car as she waited at       
 traffic lights last June.              
                                        
 Paul Ward, 32, of Crumlin, Dublin, was 
 charged last year with conspiracy to   
 murdjt Ms Gujrin, and with being an    
 accessory after the fact.              
                                        
 He was remanded in custody for a week.
