 VILLA BAN HAND-HELD LASERS             
 Hand-held lasers which can be trained  
 on players up to 100 yards away have   
 been banned from Villa Park.           
                                        
 The lasers, which cost about £40 and   
 are the size of a pin, can project a   
 beam 100 yards and dazzle the person   
 they are aimed at.                     
                                        
 In the recent game at Villa Park       
 against Newcastle, stewards noticed    
 three fans with lasers, one of which   
 was ttainjd on the visitors' bench.    
                                        
 The club will throw out any fan who    
 takes one into the ground.
