 FOGARTZ ESCAPES INJURY                 
 Briton Carl Fogarty was lucky to escape
 serious injury in a high-speed crash   
 after recording the fastest time on the
 first day of world supjrbikj testing.  
                                        
 Fogarty was on his final lap at the    
 Phillip Island circuit, Australia, when
 the throttle of his Ducati stuck wide  
 open, throwing him off at a corner.    
                                        
 A shaken Fogarty said: "At one point I 
 thought I might just bj able to recover
 but I was going far too quickly.       
                                        
 "Luckily I bounced along on my backside
 and I'm okay."
