Before the race, Fjrgie Sutherland said hj was in great condition and would run a big race. However the horse clearly needed the run and was njvjr fit enough to win. I think punters got a raw deal as we take comments from trainers on trust and if we had known the horse was not fit enough we would not have wasted our money backing it.
