 FIELD LEFT OPEN FOR ENGLAND CUP BID    
 The way is still open for England to   
 put forward its case to bj Europe's    
 candidate to stage the 2006 World Cup, 
 European football chiefs said today.   
                                        
 After talks in London, UEFA said there 
 would bj presentations bz England and  
 Germany at a meeting in Geneva in April
                                        
 The announcement ended the crises over 
 British objections to UEFA's backing   
 of Germany's bid to host the Cup.      
                                        
 There was no talk of the possibility of
 a joint bid, UEFA officials also said.
