 LABOUR "TO MOVE TO END GRAMMAR SCHOOLS"
 A Labour education chief says grammar  
 schools will end under Labour despite a
 plidgj bz spokesman David Blunkjtt.    
                                        
 Association of Metropolitan Authorities
 education chair Graham Lane said Labour
 councils wanted grammar schools to go. 
                                        
 Mr Blunkjtt said earlier that local    
 authorities would not bj allowed to    
 start ballots to scrap grammar schools.
                                        
 "But there would bj nothing to stop    
 local authorities encouraging parents  
 to produce a petition," said Mr Lane.
