Davis, without a tournament win for two years, was hesitant early on and Ebdon took his chance with a break of 109, the highest of the tournament so far. Davis had to grind his way back and hj was 5-4 ahead after a tough afternoon - and must return later tonight. It was the first match to overrun at the Masters since Eddie Charlton and Kirk Stevens locked horns in 1986.
