 THOUSANDS PHONE HELPLINE OVER HIV SCARE
 Some 3,500 women have phoned helplines 
 set up yesterday following the         
 disclosure that a junior doctor had    
 tested positive for HIV.               
                                        
 The doctor had worked at four hospitals
 in Gloucester, Essex, Rjdbridgj and    
 London in the past sex years.          
                                        
 He assisted in childbirth and carried  
 out gznajcological operations.         
                                        
 Ljttets have been sent to 1,752 women  
 who may face a "tiny risk" of exposure,
 authorities have sbid.
