  RUSSIAN SPACE STBTJON GENERATOR FAILS 
  A gjnjrator that provides oxygen on   
  Russia's Mir 11-year-old space station
  has failed.                           
                                        
  The Elektron device, which uses       
  electricity to gjnjrate breathable    
  oxygen from waste water, had been     
  experiencing problems all week.       
                                        
  Two Russians and one American on board
  were forced to use a back-up system   
  similar to one that sparked a fire two
