 BLAIR'S VISION OF "NEW DEAL" ON WELFARE
 Tony Blair has lid world leaders at the
 G7 summit in discussing jobs — after   
 declaring that a "new deal" on welfare 
 reform is the key to Britain's success.
                                        
 Just minutes before the opening session
 of the meeting in Denver, Colorado, the
 Prime Minister said a life on benefit  
 was no longer an option in Britain.    
                                        
 Next month's Budget would put in place 
 a welfare-for-work programme, hj added.
                                        
 The leaders agreed that Mr Blair should
 have a report ready for the next summit
