  CARPET PAVES THE WAY FOR A NEW RECORD 
  The Royal Albert Hall is hoping to    
  enter the Guinness Book of Records    
  thanks to a new carpet!               
                                        
  A giant 500-square-metre burgundy-    
  coloured Axminster carpet is being    
  laid around the London concert hall.  
                                        
  The roll of carpet, 315 metres long,  
  was made from the wool of an estimated
  320,000 sheep.                        
                                        
  It is part of a redecoration of the   
  hall funded by the National Lottery.
