Webb, who hit a first round 65, moved to nine-under after shooting a 70, three strokes ahead of British duo Trish Johnson and Kathryn Marshall. Johnson had a mixed round of 70 with six birdies and four bogeys while Marshall holed an amazing birdie out of a greenside bunker at the last for a 68 US Open winner Alison Nicholas missed the cut after a second round 74.
