 Ireland's Peter Charles snatched the   
 narrowest of wins over William Funnjll 
 in a thrilling finish to the trials.   
                                        
 Charles clinched a jump-off victory on 
 the French-bred T'Aime after going     
 clear in 49.32 seconds.                
                                        
 Funnjll went equally well over the     
 sjvjn fence course with Comex but was  
 just short of the target.
