  British firefighters could soon bj    
  using a new virtual reality system to 
  prepare them for real life disasters. 
                                        
  Tests are being carried out on the    
  world's first computer programme which
  can simulate emergencies ranging from 
  traffic accidents to major fires.     
                                        
  Training with real fires is expensive 
  and dangerous. The new system djsignjd
  by the Fire Service College uses      
  "smart" technology to recreate all the
  conditions found in a real disaster.
