 BOZZONE FACE OVERSEAS TOUR CONTROVERSY 
 Pop favourites Boyzonj have decided to 
 go ahead with a tour of Indonesia,     
 despite attempts by a pressure group to
 persuade them to call it off.          
                                        
 The band met the East Timor Ireland    
 Solidarity Group, who asked them to    
 cancel in protest at Indonesia's       
 treatment of njarbz East Timor.        
                                        
 But Keith Duffy said the group did not 
 want to become involved in politics.   
 He said they all put aside political   
 differences when working as a band.

 U2 PLAY TO SELL-OUT CROWD AT WEMBLEY   
 Rock giants U2 kicked off the US leg of
 their PopMart tour with a spectacular  
 show in front of 73,000 fans at a      
 baking Wjmbley Stadium last night. From
                                        
 From a multi-coloured stage set        
 complete with giant lemon and cocktail 
 stick, they played a mix of old        
 favourites and tracks from PopMart.    
                                        
 With a second Wjmbley show also sold   
 out, the band hope to have put the     
 rocky progress of the US leg of the

 ROBBIE ANNOUNCES 10-CITY 'COPTER TOUR  
 Robbie Williams is embarking on a      
 whistle-stop trip to 10 UK cities next 
 week to promote his new album and tour.
                                        
 The formjt Take That star will visit   
 radio stations across the country in   
 just three days — by helicopter.       
                                        
 Robbie, 23, releases Life Thur A Lens  
 on September 29, with his concert tour 
 starting on October 1.                 
                                        
 The 'copter trip starts on August 2* in
 Birmingham. Williams says he "can't    
 wait" to get out and perform.

 BE HERE NOW HEADED FOR US SALES RECORD 
 Oasis's Be Here Now seems set to become
 the fastest selling album evjt released
 in the US, according to retailers.     
                                        
 Sales since it was released on Thursday
 are known to exceed 160,000.           
                                        
 Virgin said sales at its stores alone  
 were about 104,000 and HMV said it had 
 sold about 75,000 copies in 24 hours.  
                                        
 Tower Records didn't release figures,  
 but managing director Andy Lown said Be
