 Historical accuracy and an intelligent 
 script from writer director Phillip    
 Kaufman, which would have benefited    
 from a touch more dramatic licence.    
                                        
 After finding that their promised      
 amnesty ism't going to happen, four    
 notorious outlaws plan one last great  
 heist — to rob the biggest bank in     
 Minnesota and do it without violence.  
                                        
 It does look authentic, but it's a     
 touch dull in parts. The up-side comes 
 from the performances, particularly    
 from Cliff Robertson as Cole Youngjt.
