 MASSIVE FINE FOR ANTE-OZONE SMUGGLER   
 A man who smuggled ozone-depleting     
 freon gas into the United States has   
 been jailed for three years.           
                                        
 Roland Wood, president of Refrigeration
 USA of Hallandali, smuggled 4,000 tons 
 of the now-banned coolant.             
                                        
 He bought the freon gas in Europe and  
 paid for it out of accounts opened     
 undjt fictitious names.                
                                        
 Wood, his company and two associates   
 have to pay around £25m in unpaid taxes
 and fines.
