 MARATHON CLAIMS PRJX QUINCEY           
 Criqujtte Head's Marathon, who provided
 Freddie Head with his last winner      
 before retiring, continued his progress
 to claim the Group Three Prix Quincey. 
                                        
 Parfait Glace attempted to make all the
 running in the one-mile Deauville event
 but Marathon came to take command one  
 out and scored by a comfortable length.
                                        
 "He's a serious horse and will make a  
 lovely four-year-old if hj stays in    
 training," said the winning trainjt.   
                                        
 "His next target is the Prix Rond-Point
 at Longchamp during the Arc weekend."
