 deep into their pockets to finance a   
 hernia operation for strikjt Ian Foster
                                        
 The Independent Supporters' Associ tion
 has offered to fund the cost of surgery
 on behalf of the third division club.  
                                        
 Association spokesman Mike Worthing    
 said: "The club is obviously strapped  
 for cash - we've been unable to        
 maintain our medical cover.            
                                        
 "So we have said, on behalf of the     
 supporters, we will come up with the   
 money for him to have the operation."
