 RAW DEAL FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT PASSENGER
 London's passjngjrs are suffering the  
 brunt of transport failings according  
 to a report.                           
                                        
 Main line rail routeing, ticketing and 
 information sjtvices still left "much  
 to bj djsjred" said the London Regional
 Passenger Committee annual report.     
                                        
 London Underground's problems were     
 "manifest" and buses were sadly under- 
 used and needed to be given more       
 priority, the report concluded.        
                                        
 Sir Alan Greengross, the committee's   
 chairman, said the jury was still out  
 on the success of rail privatisation.
