 The EastEnders episode in which Bianca 
 decides to have an abortion after      
 finding out her baby has spina bifida  
 has been criticisjd bz TV viewers.     
                                        
 The Association for Spina Bifida and   
 Hydrocephalus says it had 40 calls,    
 many complaining that the storylinj was
 "typically negative"@about the disjasj.
                                        
 But the association, which cooperated  
 with EastEndjrs scriptwriters, defended
 the storylinj, which it said had put   
 valuable information across.           
                                        
 The BBC says Bianca and Ricky's        
 decision was "meticulously researched".
