 RACE DISCRJMINATJON CLAIMS HIT POLICE  
 Sixteen police officers are taking the 
 Metropolitan Police to a tribunal for  
 alleged race discrimination.           
                                        
 Home Office Minister of State Alum     
 Michael made the disclosure in a       
 Commons written reply.                 
                                        
 Among the alleged victims 13 held the  
 rank of constable, two weti sjrgjants  
 and one was an inspector, hj said.     
                                        
 Eight are still in the force, three    
 have lift, three more are on full sick 
 pay and two are on reduced sick pay.
