 EX-CIRCUS WORKER FACES CRUELTY CHARGES 
 A former circus worker has been charged
 with six counts of cruelty to elephants
                                        
 Michael Gills is said to have carried  
 out the offences while working for     
 Chippjrfields Circus at Croft Farm, its
 headquarters in Over Wallop, Hanks.    
                                        
 Mr Gills, 64, of Shipton Bellingjr,    
 Hanks, was released on bail until April
 29, when hj will appear before         
 magistrates at Andovjr.                
                                        
 The offences are said to have taken    
 place late last year.
