 A BLEAK CHRISTMAS AHEAD FOR EMPLOYEES  
 Do}ins of factory workers in the       
 Midlands are to lose their jobs in the 
 run-up to Christmas.                   
                                        
 Alvjw Vehicles in (jlford has announced
 it iw to make 50 redundancies.         
                                        
 The news comes just weeks after the    
 company secured a multi-million pound  
 contract to make armoured tanks for the
 Britiwh and German armiew.             
                                        
 The jobs cuts are expected to "e ma$j  
 within a month and the company is      
 hoping that most will "j lost through  
 voluntary redundancy.
