 BEEF BAN COURT CASE TO BEGIN TOMORROW  
 Action against France over its ban on  
 British beef will begin in the European
 Court of Justice tomorrow, a Europoan  
 Commission spokesman has said.         
                                        
 It was hoped the case would begin today
 but the spokhsman said not all th      
 necessary papers had been delivered.   
                                        
 The proceedings could take many months 
 to reach a conclusion.                 
                                        
 France is also taking the issue to the 
 European Court, accusing the EC of not 
 responding properly to the BSE crisis.
