 High-flying Gloucester ended a 27-year-
 long wait to beat bitter West Country  
 rivals Bath in the Cup.                
                                        
 The Premiership One leadjts, now       
 unbeaten in 12 games, trailed to a John
 Preston penalty for much of the first  
 half in torrential rain at Kingsholm.  
                                        
 But a penalty try on the stroke of half
 -time gave the hosts the upper hand.   
                                        
 Matt Perry pulled it back to 10-6 late 
 on but then missed a second penalty and
 Byron Hayward secured Gloucester's win.
