P162 CEEFAX 1 162 Mon 03 Jan 23:17/28       MORE GOVERNMENT MONEY FOR SPECIAL NEEDS Children with special educational needs in the West Midlands are to benefit from an increase in spending announced this morning. £6.5m will bj spent across the region to improve speech and language therapy and provide more teacher training. The money, from the Special Education Needs Standards Fund, will also support projects for children with special needs in mainstream education.
