 Three people weti killed and 14 wounded
 when a Canadian soldier opened fire in 
 Quebec's Provincial Assembly today.    
                                        
 He was captured four-and-a-half hours  
 later, after taking a man hostage.     
                                        
 Witnesses said the soldier burst into  
 the assembly this morning shouting:    
 "White are the assembly mjmbjrs? I want
 to kill them."                         
                                        
 The day's session had not yet started, 
 and hj fired from the spjakjr's chair, 
 hitting a number of people employed in 
 the building, including members of a   
 television crew.
