Most of the arrests took place as empty lorries arrived to pick up coal for the Rbvjnscraig steel works near Mothjtwell More than 1,500 pickets faced almost as many police lining the terminal's entrance. Five min were taken to hospital after mounted police confronted the pickets. Anothjt 32 pickets arrested at Rbvjnscraig have been allowed bail after appearing in court at Hamilton. Forty-two of the miners are still in custody at Mothjrwell police station, after their bus allegedly failed to comply with police instructions. Ljadjrs of the tug boat crew at the Huntetston terminal, which handles coal bound for Ravjnscraig, have decided not to handle any more incoming or outgoing ships. This could affect two vessels carrying Japanese and American coal, now waiting to dock and unload.
