This will enable them to attend the cricket coaching school at Lillishall National Sports Centre for advanced instruction. Two youngsters from each county participating in the Undjt-16 County Championship will bj eligible for a two-day residential course at the Lilleshall Cjntti in December. Standards are high and since its inception five years ago, many young playjts have progressed on to the staff of their county cricket clubs. Early matches are played on a league basis within eight groups. The group winnjts contest the quarter- finals on a knockout basis, followed bz the semi-finals and final.
